Hopelink
of King County
Launches Employment Program
Hopelink's mission is to
promote self-sufficiency
for all members of the community; they help people make lasting change.
In
this tough economic climate, it is becoming
increasingly difficult for people to find living-wage jobs. The
scarcity of
available positions hits families hard. In an effort to help the most
vulnerable in the community,
|
|
Hopelink
has launched a new employment program to
provide service including: job coaching to determine viable career
paths,
resume building, interview practice and preparation, workplace
counseling on
attire and conduct, job development and placement and post employment
support.

Fair
Trade
Fair
trade is a simple solution that means the difference—quite
literally—between
surviving and not surviving for small-scale farmers and artisans.
By
supporting Fair Trade, we
affirm human dignity by promoting: fair wages, children’s
rights,
women’s
rights, the right to organize, environmental rights and indigenous
rights. (Click the graphics for more info on each fairtrade
project.)
